Earshot Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-18
1. Who we are
Earshot is made by Korevor, the d/b/a of Denile Music LLC, a Nevada limited liability company (NV20243188383) based in Las Vegas, NV. "We," "us," and "our" mean Denile Music LLC operating as Korevor.
2. What this policy covers
Earshot is a Mac app that sends the sound playing on your Mac, live, to people you give a link to. They hear it on a listening page in their browser, or in the app's Listen side. In the middle sits a relay: a server that takes the sound from the app and passes it on to everyone listening. This policy covers the app, the listening page, and the relay we run, which today is at listen.korevor.com.
The app lets you type in a different relay address. If you point it at a relay someone else runs, whoever runs that relay decides what happens to your data there, and this policy does not cover it. Our website has its own privacy policy.
3. What stays on your Mac
Earshot has no account and no sign-in. It keeps its settings on your Mac and nowhere else: the relay address, the sound source you picked, your last link, the name you typed on the Listen side, and the volume. Your stream key is kept in the macOS Keychain. The app has no analytics, no tracking code, and no third-party code; it is built on Apple's own frameworks. We cannot see any of these settings.
4. What leaves your Mac when you send
When you click Start sending, the app opens one connection to the relay and sends two things over it: your stream key, so the relay knows the sound is yours, and the sound itself. It also tells the relay the sample rate and channel count, so listeners can play it back. Nothing else leaves your Mac. The connection is encrypted unless the relay runs on the same Mac as the app.
5. What the relay does
The relay passes sound through as it arrives. It does not record, store, transcribe, or analyze the audio, and we do not listen to your sessions. Once you stop sending, no copy of the sound exists anywhere on our side.
For troubleshooting and abuse prevention, the relay writes a plain text log. For each session it records the sender's IP address, each listener's IP address and browser name, the link's id, when each person connected and left, and how much audio passed. The log holds no names and no audio. It stays on the relay machine, is not combined with any other data, and is kept for no more than 90 days.
The relay runs in the United States. If you use Earshot from the EU or the UK, the connection details above are handled in the US.
6. Listeners
Anyone who has your link can listen while you are sending. The link is a long random id that no one can guess, so keep it to the people you mean to share with. Make a new link… in the app replaces it; the old link stops working for everyone at once.
A listener types a name before pressing Listen. That name goes to the relay and is shown to the sender, so they know who is there. It is not written to the log. The listening page keeps that name, and a random id it uses to rejoin after a dropped connection, in your browser's local storage. The page sets no cookies of its own and loads no third-party scripts.
The relay sits behind Cloudflare, which carries the connection and may see your IP address and connection details under its own privacy policy.
7. What we do not do
We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or build profiles from it. We use the relay log only to fix problems and to keep the relay safe.
8. Children
Earshot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
9. Your rights (CCPA / GDPR)
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. California residents may also opt out of any sale or sharing of personal data; we do neither. Because Earshot has no account, the only personal data we hold is in the relay log described above. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
10. Changes
We'll post changes to this policy here with a new "Last updated" date. The app's Help menu always opens the current version.
